What Have We Been Up To?
On Friday the 13th of June 2025 we had the privilege to go to the Big Health Event and set up a stall! A very fun day with lots of friendly faces.
Big Health Day is an annual event for people with a physical or learning disability, sensory loss or mental health support needs. It aims to be a fun and inclusive event which encourages people to participate in sport, physical exercise and social activities and to engage with services and organisations which can provide support.

On Tuesday the 29th O.R.A.O.K CIC was at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust Meet and Greet at the Stroud Trinity rooms, a brilliant opportunity for organisations that support people with their mental health.
it was a brilliant opportunity to network with other organisations in and around the Stroud area.
Our First Community Hub Drop-In
Ollies Random Acts of Kindness CIC had there first Expert by Experience drop in session at Paganhill community Centre. Ollie and Riley spent time building important relationships with the local community, giving them a space to talk about their lived experience's , and the opportunities for people with lived experience to turn their lived experience into training for professionals. Riley fell in love with Paganhill community centres resident cat, Garfield!
Pop Punk Fundraising Night
Ollies Random Acts of Kindness CIC put on our first ever Pop Punk fundraising gig! Three local bands all came together for this unforgettable evening of shenanigans and pop punk music! Held at Stroud brewery's balcony tap room. It was a brilliant evening with perfect weather! O.R.A.O.K CIC are planning our next gig night, so keep your eyes peeled!
Our Quiz Night
O.R.A.O.K CIC put on their first ever fundraising quiz night, held at Fresh Standard Brewery. Lots of local people came to support our fundraising quiz including fresh standard regulars and newbies! Generous local buisnesses donted some amazing prizes including a theraputic treatment from soulful serenity, £20 voucher for baked for you, and a mug/tea towel combo from Made in Stroud!
Dopamine London Gig
O.R.A.O.K went to the New Cross Inn, in London to support at Dopamines first ever London show! The team offered Peer mental health support, Sexual health support and information about our volunteering opportunities and Expert by Expierance workshops/training.
